Turkey
Turkey forms a geographical, cultural and economic bridge between Europe and Asia, which gives it a strategically important location. The landscape is diverse, ranging from the Mediterranean and Black Sea coasts to mountain ranges and plateaus. Turkey has a dynamic economy with strong industrial and service sectors. Particularly noteworthy are the textile and automotive industries, mechanical engineering, household electrics and, of course, tourism. The young and growing population is driving consumption and the economy. Turkey offers German companies access to new markets in Central Asia, the Middle East and especially in Africa. The growing middle class and the emerging economy offer numerous opportunities for investment and business development.
